Each vent system comes complete with everything needed to vent a Sterling GG heater. These stainless steel, gas tight 4" vent systems are approved by Sterling for horizontal installation in residential and commercial applications for GG model heaters. These are the most durable, longest lasting, and lowest maintenance vent systems available for these gas heaters. All vent systems are for horizontal venting of all Sterling GG gas heaters.
Sterling 4" Greenhouse Vent Kit Includes
For greenhouses and structures with walls less than 4" thick.
(1) 4" heater adapter, (1) 4" vent terminal, (1) 4" x 24" vent pipe, (1) 4" x 35" adjustable vent pipe, (2) 4" Firestop flashings, and (1) 4" storm collar

For structures with an exterior wall at least 4" thick. Adjustable length.

Sterling 4" 45 Degree Garage / Shop Vent Kit Includes
For heaters installed at a 45 degree angle to the wall in structures with an exterior wall at least 4" thick. Adjustable length.
(1) 4" heater adapter, (1) 4" vent terminal, (1) 4" 45° elbow, (2) 4" x 12" vent pipes, and (1) 4" adjustable wall thimble + 18" pipe
Vent pipe and fittings feature patented built-in mechanical locking band and triple-lipped directional gaskets. All pipes and components are engineered with smooth clean welds located 90° from mechanical locking bands. All pipe and fittings are UL1738 approved for category II, III and IV venting applications.
What is UL 1738? In short, it is a US standard for gas venting systems required in category 3 applications. Category 3 refers to positive vent pressure which is created by exhaust blowers in unit heaters. These vent systems must be constructed of AL29-4C® stainless steel, contain gaskets for sealing, and have a built in mechanical locking band among other requirements. All category 3 vent pipe and fittings offered are single wall.
