All the parts and pieces arrived in great condition. The paint job of the frame material is outstanding. Some of the assembly instructions are a bit vague but assembly was pretty intuitive. I’m impressed with all the added cross bracing and the thickness of the frame. Overall I am extremely satisfied with this greenhouse.

Features I really like about the Grow More greenhouse:

1. The quality and sturdiness of the frame and covering are far superior to the Palram greenhouse I am replacing. No worries about high winds blowing a panel out of this thing! That was an ongoing issue with my previous greenhouse.

2. The roof vents are huge. These monsters really let in a lot of fresh air even with the doors closed. I noticed it does not heat up nearly as quickly as my previous one.

3. I have large potted plants that have to be transported by cart and wheelbarrow in soil for my raised beds. The roomy double doors make these tasks much easier. They are plenty sturdy, and the Dutch door is nice for added ventilation. I would have preferred the option to lock them though. I may just pick up a gate type latch locally if the need arises.
Nice and sturdy after some effort

Overall - the kit is simple enough to assemble. Two vertical parts seemed to be backwards or the wrong orientation, but the aluminum is soft enough to easily re-drill a hole for the snap connectors for rotation into the correct place. We did a 2" insulated concrete slab underneath.

If installing a poly panel feels very hard, it's likely that you are out of square on that part of the house - you'll want to pull/push the pieces around until the panels easily slide in so they don't break the delicate panel open edges.

The door latch hardware is not very nice and is riveted, so it will fail pretty soon based on our 1 year mark of usage. The door itself is a useful Dutch design so we'll just drill new holes for new hardware when it fails.

With all of those complaints, I really like the unit. Holds up well under heavy new england snow. I do need to insulate it for the cold as it's about tripled my heating bill in the winter with the recommended 240v electric heater fan, so we'll probably get the bubble wrap advertised here. It's nice to sit inside during lunch; we did a little xmas tree in the middle and are keeping citrus trees going during the winter.

I really like the interior design for adding shelves and plant hangers etc - it's very functional. I added the extra aluminum crossbars to add more strength for the roof as well as more hanging plant options.
Outstanding greenhouse

I purchased the Growmore 13 x 13 greenhouse with an extension. I am very pleased with this greenhouse. I think for the money, it is incredibly well-built And a real bargain. Everything fit together very well with very few problems installing it. I was a little intimidated by the instruction booklet and the mountain of parts. But once I start putting it together and realized that the parts were organized by box number and all of the parts were nicely labeled, I took a deep breath and started putting it all together. There was a little bit of learning curve but once I started, it really flowed. Three of us put it together in one day. But that was after I put the base down. It’s quite a learning curve I took me three hours to put the base down but I could probably redo it in about 30 minutes. The key to installation was getting the base perfectly level. I used six by sixes on concrete piers and a laser level. It was absolutely flat and I think that aided greatly in the installation. Instruction manual is not very good, but once you get the hang of it does make sense. Pay close attention to the orientation of the parts. In the future, hopefully they’ll have photographs and a video as well that would be extremely helpful. Customer service is wonderful, Erik was very patient with my questions and very helpful. In short I would highly recommend this greenhouse, it’s only been up for a day but it seems to be very solid and weatherproof. If you have some trepidation about purchasing this one, go ahead and buy it you won’t be disappointed…

I live in south central Texas, and we get a few hard freezes each year. Because of the exceptionally long freeze we had in Feb 2021, I decided to get a greenhouse to protect some of my plants. I purchased the smaller version of this greenhouse in the past and was very happy with it, so I decided to upgrade to a larger one. This 13 x 13 is the perfect size for me. It can hold quite a lot of large pots with plenty of room for shelving etc. The panels are thicker than anything else I found online. Unfortunately there are a few things I didn't like. The instructions are pretty bad. It's all pictures, and some little details aren't completely clear. We had to redo a few things once we caught the mistakes. Once built, it seems sturdy and looks nice. The other thing that I really don't like is that the operable panels on top don't seal properly when closed. There seems to be other areas of gaps that create some drafts too. Fortunately our freezes tend to only drop to the high 20s, so the temperature is still okay. If I lived in a colder environment, this would definitely be an issue. Today when the outside temperature was about 45 due to a cold front, the greenhouse was about 55. Properly sealed, I think it should be at least 10 degrees higher. The poor sealing was not an issue with my previous smaller model. I plan to use flexseal or some other product to seal off any areas where warm air is escaping and readjust the ceiling panels. Overall I really like the greenhouse; but for the price paid, it really shouldn't have these issues.

The greenhouse seems very sturdy. It took my husband a few days to put it together since the instructions were very vague, there are no steps, just pages of pictures that you have to interpret. There were a couple of errors but we figured it out. Also we bought an extension as well which meant some confusion in the instructions as well since they are all pictured without the extension. I do wish that the instructions had mentioned that you have to tape all the panels BEFORE you start building it, there was no mention of it in the main instructions so it did not get done to our greenhouse which means we will have to take it all apart to fix.

ACF Greenhouses: Thank you for your review and picture! We are constantly working with manufacturers to help them improve their products and instructions for using them. Feedback from customers like you helps us know what areas need improvement. The tape for the poly panels is optional. It is not covered in the Grow More instructions, because the tape is an aftermarket product you can purchase for the greenhouse. However, in the tracking email for every order, we do ask customers to please open and read the red envelope first because that is where we include additional helpful information for the products your ordered.
