I have used cheap vent openers, and there is no question that these are stronger and better constructed. The replacement cylinders are a little tricky to replace, but once you do the first one, it's pretty easy.

Bought an extra pair when we set up greenhouse because thought we might have problem getting replaceable. Just now installed spare set. Had no problem finding another spare set. ACF had best price and AMAZING delivery from VA to GA. British gardeners don't tolerate poor quality when they buy supplies as this high quality product shows.

When my 20 year old greenhouse vents stopped opening I thought I was in for a works of hurt and expense to fix them, not only did they have the exact parts I needed, they were inexpensive, shipped quickly and I was back up and running in a half an hour. Thanks!
