I've only had the wireless monitor for a short period of time but so far it is working as we had hoped it would. Our greenhouse is roughly 100 feet from the house and not visible through the trees. This unit gives us the temperature and humidity reading from the house so we know when the heat and ventilation systems are working without a visual inspection for verification.

The monitoring system is working the way we had hoped. We wanted something that was battery operated and not internet based. We have the base station in our home within line of sight of the extender, which is placed inside our greenhouse office area that is about 200 feet away. The base station has been successfully monitoring and sounding alarms on the three sensors we have placed inside our greenhouses. We have yet to see how long batteries will last



The alarm for low/high temp alerts is loud enough to hear and keeps going until you turn it off. We did find out by accident that when you hit the "Records' button at the top of the unit, it will turn off any sounding alarm but leaves the alert symbol showing for that station. This is helpful for when you get an alarm in the night and want to mute it while you go out to get the temp adjusted.

This system has been sitting on my counter in the house since it arrived and it's not accurate. How can the humidity be a 14% difference with the monitor and the base station sitting together? It's not backlit so hard to read. The outdoor monitor has no reading so I'll have to go into the house from the greenhouse to find out the temperature and humidity. I wish I'd purchased something different.
