I got this because the electric space heater I use in my sunroom just kept cutting on and off and wouldn't keep the room a constant temperature. It is like night and day after I plugged it into this thermostat! Just make sure you turn the high low dial on your heater to the highest setting otherwise it may cut off before it heats to the temperature you set.

It's nice to get something that works like it is supposed to work. We bought the SureStat TS116 Plug In Portable Thermostat Control to control the greenhouse fan. It is well made and the electrical cord, usually a weak point in such items, is heavy and the plugs are good. The thermostat temperature calibration agrees with the hanging thermometer; no adjustment was required. All in all, it is nice, works well, and is a good value.

I inadvertently ordered the thermostat to cool, when I wanted one to heat. I called and Chris walked me through the change needed to switch over to heating. He also sent me a very useful email which showed the procedure clearly. Thank you.
